Why is there no monthly plan?
Because a $2–$4 monthly card charge loses most of its value to payment-processing fees (a fixed ~$0.30 sits on every charge). Billing in 3-, 6- or 12-month blocks keeps that overhead tiny, so we can keep the price this low. It also means one renewal a year instead of twelve chances for an expired card to interrupt your bookings.
Why are small teams billed yearly?
The smaller your team, the smaller the charge — and a tiny charge is exactly the one that processing fees eat. Billing yearly (e.g. a solo at about $20–24/year) keeps your effective price at $2 + $1/seat. Teams of 4+ can choose 6-month billing, and 10+ can bill quarterly.
How much will I actually pay?
$2 for your first seat plus $1 for each additional seat — so a 3-person salon is about $4/month, billed yearly. Commit to a year and you get 2 months free; 2- and 3-year terms add 4 and 6 free months and lock your price. Use the calculator above to see your exact total.
What if I add a team member mid-term?
You can add seats anytime — the new seat is simply reflected at your next renewal (or added as a small prorated top-up), never a surprise. Removing a seat credits your next renewal.
Is it really 0% commission with no hidden fees?
Yes. Boona never takes a cut of your bookings and never charges your clients a booking fee. There's no setup fee. The only thing you pay is your seat-based plan — that's the whole point.
Do I need a card to start?
No. Every account starts with a full-featured 3-month free trial — no card, no commitment. You only pay when you choose a plan, and paying during the trial doesn't cost you a day: your paid period starts when the trial ends.
Can I get a refund?
You start with 3 months free, so you can be sure before you pay. If you cancel a prepaid term, the remaining time is credited toward your future renewals — that credit never expires. Cash refunds are handled case-by-case within 30 days of payment. Cancel anytime and you won't be re-billed.
